About Bridey

My unique educational & professional experiences have allowed me the great privilege to teach a variety of subject matters in areas that interest me most; language, community, earthen building, all things nature based, art, food & wellness.

By studying through the method of 'experiential education,' I gained a perspective of ecology & humanity that granted me an intimate exploration of the bioregions of the U.S. and Hawai'i.

Through my experiences as an 'at-risk' youth counselor and a mother raising her children in a communal living setting; I see the power in non-violent communication. Attending workshops and studying NVC is an ongoing learning experience for me. I find it a critical tool to teach to our youth and practice as adults.

For nearly a decade I worked as an educational liaison to migrant families. My interest in learning and teaching language blossomed and in return I was given the special gift of truly knowing community & learning another language.

Alongside my seed saving husband we have created and facilitated garden & nature based art and storytelling activities to Waldorf students in Oregon and Hawai'i.

Learning alongside the Functional Nutrition Alliance team has allowed me the opportunity to expand upon my self-discoveries and gain a physiological insight of the body's functions.

I'm eager to share what I know with you!
